Customer Pickup: Safety, Setup & Return
Your weekend, your way—with a clear plan for pickup, safe use and return. This guide is for approved customer pickup rentals only.
1. Before your appointment
- The renter must be at least 21 with a suitable truck or vehicle and trailer.
- Complete the required rental agreement and safety training before collection.
- Bring identification matching the reservation and confirm your pickup/return appointments.
- Confirm that your selected equipment is approved for pickup and that your location meets its requirements.
2. Your pickup handoff
Our team checks the reservation, reviews the equipment and accessories with you, explains the unit-specific instructions and handles loading. Do not leave with missing instructions or unanswered safety questions.
3. Setup training
Choose the right location
Review the exact unit’s space, clearance, surface, anchoring and power requirements with MOVANTA before setup. Do not improvise a setup in a location that does not meet those requirements.
Unroll, unfold and prepare the unit
Reserved for the approved unit-specific video and illustrated checklist, including orientation, air outlets and zipper checks.
Anchoring and tie-downs
Reserved for the manufacturer-approved anchoring instructions for each pickup unit. No generic sandbag or stake count is approved by this draft.
Blower, power and water connections
Reserved for the supplied blower/cord instructions and, only for approved wet-use equipment, its water attachment procedure.
4. During your rental
Maintain responsible adult supervision and follow all equipment rules and weather instructions. Stop use if something is unsafe, damaged or malfunctioning. Refer to FAQs and contact MOVANTA.
5. Shutdown and return training
The approved guide will demonstrate clearing the unit, shutdown, draining where applicable, flattening, folding, rolling, straps and transport. Follow the exact unit’s procedure. Do not attempt steps that have not been explained or that you cannot perform safely.
6. Appointments
Friday pickup: 3–6 PM
Sunday return: 4–7 PM
Monday return: 8–11 AM
All appointments must be confirmed. Weekend package pricing applies.
Safety slideshow and test
To add: the slideshow and test created with Claude, followed by an explicit acknowledgment. The completed workflow must record the reservation, training version, completion time and required result before equipment is released.
Return check-in
Return all supplied equipment and accessories. Tell our team about damage, missing items, contamination or problems during use. Staff will unload and inspect the returned equipment.
